We can help you enjoy the audio journey.

Chimera Labs is the end of a journey started over 40 years ago by Dennis Boyle. It began with a fascination for music and its magically enriching qualities. Dennis spent over thirty years collecting, restoring and studying vintage audio equipment. The joy of listening to that first Dynalabs "Dynakit" built in 1964 to lessons learned from constructing and modifying a wide range of audio equipment. The increasing interest and support of the audio community turned a favorite pursuit into a commercial venture.

In scientific terms, a Chimera  is a unique hybrid entity composed of diverse elements that attains performance attributes normally not found in nature. Our name identifies the goals we must achieve.

Chimera Labs wants to be the resource that helps you enjoy vintage audio. We want to help you achieve success in your audio construction projects. Share the lessons and processes learned from the years of audio development and refinement. Chimera labs ensure our products provide you a lifetime of enjoyment and we offer a money back guarantee. Dennis Boyle values his relationships with all our audio customers and looks forward to sharing many new experiences.

About Our Audio Staff

Tango and Smoky do share their opinions when I evaluate audio sound performance. Rambles seems to focus on food, sex and killing things.....but then he is 85% Wolf. He did eat a speaker he must not have liked the sound of. I completely agreed with him, so it wasn't much of a loss.

Smoky – At the age of 91, in human years, started on the Final Journey on June 28, 2007. After 14 years of Companionship and Loyalty, he died in his sleep dreaming of cats to chase. I am sure the local rat and squirrel population breathed a sigh of relief.

Tango – At the age of 101 in human years, died in her sleep on the evening of July 27, 2007. Her passing was noted and announced by Ramble’s soulful howl. She was the queen of the pack and taught us all. Her love, loyalty and companionship will be missed.
